!!! 8th Annual -- 2003 Edition !!!
at Don't Tell Mama
He writes the songs. We sing them. This unabashed bash honors Barry Manilow's birthday, offering reverence, camp, cake and key changes. The Brooklyn-born singer/songwriter has composed, arranged and sung his music for over two decades. Of course there are the signature power ballads, and much more. Jazz, swing and jingles, along with a unique rendering of the disco drama "Copacabana," are all part of this relatively reverent tribute to Our Man of Many Modulations. It's a true blue spectacle!
"This event at Don't Tell Mama could go down in history as one of the most extravagant evenings of "Big Fun" in cabaret history."
