Tom played the lead in a staged reading of a new musical entitled What if... . The reading took place on the main stage at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood.

- September 26-28, 2003: Forrest Outreach Foundation's Celebrity Tennis/Poker Tournament in Plano, Texas.
The foundation focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering economically disadvantaged persons to make positive, lasting changes in the lives of current and future generations. Tom was joined by Fred Willard, JoAnne Worley, Ted Lange, Patrick Wayne, Michael Cavanaugh, and Louis Herthum at the event.

- July 24, 2000: Tom golfed in the Celebrity Golf Tournament for the North Shore Hospital. Location: Westbury Country Club on Long Island. Tee off at 11:15.

- May 16 (9:30): Tom sang 4 of Frank Butler's songs in Dallas For NYC&Co. He was back in NYC for the evening performance on Wednesday!
- May, 4 2000: Enterprise Book Drive. Tom sang "Old Fashioned Wedding" at Macy's famed Herald Square store to kick off a fund raising effort.
- April 17 2000: Inside Broadway performance at Les Mis' Imperial Theatre. Tom sang "The Girl that I Marry" "Old Fashioned Wedding", & "Anything You Can Do" in a program to show New York City School Children the magic of Broadway. Historical Note: the Imperial Theatre is where Ms. Merman debuted as Annie Oakley.
