Tom's 21 month run in the Broadway Company Annie Get Your Gun resulted in a total of 701 performances!
Tom was an understudy for the principal roles of Frank Butler (Tom Wopat), Buffalo Bill (Conrad John Schuck), and Chief Sitting Bull (Larry Storch). On the nights that he was not covering any of those roles, Tom played the role of Mac.

*** When Tom left the show (to play the dual roles of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde), Crystal Bernard (from TV's Wings) was playing the role of Annie Oakley & Tom Wopat was playing the role of Frank Buttler.
