April 30 - May 23, 2004: The Grove Theatre in Upland, CA
Tom played the leading-man role of Griffin Evergood in the world premiere of Moon Shine. Griffin is one of three Texas brothers who venture to California to satisfy the demands from their dear, departed, Daddy's will; Griffin must git him a gal, and git married in less than a month's time. Tom was featured heavily in this show, and he sang a lot of songs.
The characters are rich (literally and figuratively), and the humor never stops. The music will knock your socks off.
Fred Willard (Waiting For Guffman, Fernwood Tonight, etc.) is playing the role of Kenny in the show. Jim J. Bullock (Too Close for Comfort & The Hollywood Squares) is playing the role of Caleb. Moon Shine is directed by Ted Lange (Loveboat).
The book for Moon Shine was written by Mary Willard. The music and lyrics were written by the famed country composer and performer, Marty Stuart.
